The Gialletto di Brindisi variety, also known as Brindisino, is a historical local cultivar grown in the Apulia region. The plant shows vigorous growth, with fruit ripening occurring by early August.
The fruits are oval in shape and weigh from 3 to 5 kg, distinguished by smooth yellow skin and melting white flesh. Traditionally, the variety is valued for its high organoleptic properties and ability to be stored for long periods in cool conditions until the winter holidays.
