The Mabel F1 hybrid belongs to mid-late varieties with a maturity period of 75–85 days. The plant is characterized by a strong structure, good growth vigor and a developed leaf canopy, protecting fruits from sunlight. The recommended planting density is 6–8 thousand plants per hectare; cultivation is possible both in the open field and in plastic tunnels.
Fruits have an oval shape with slight ribbing of the dark green skin. The flesh is cream-white, juicy, with a small seed cavity; sugar content reaches 14–15%. The produce is suitable for transportation and long-term storage.
The hybrid possesses resistance to powdery mildew, melon necrotic spot virus (MNSV) and fusarium wilt (Fom: 0, 1, 2). The variety is distinguished by high plasticity to agronomic conditions and stress tolerance, intended for the fresh market.
