The Galia-type hybrid (also known under the commercial name «Octavio») is intended for cultivation in open field. The plant has a developed foliage system, providing protection for the fruits from the sun.
The fruits have a round shape, high uniformity, and pronounced surface netting. The fruit flesh is green. The variety belongs to the ESL category, which means increased keeping quality during storage.
The hybrid possesses high resistance (HR) to Melon necrotic spot virus and Fusarium wilt (races 0, 1, 2), as well as intermediate resistance (IR) to powdery mildew (races 1, 2, 5).
