The Ocito hybrid belongs to the Charentais jaune type and is characterized by early maturity. The fruits reach a mass of 1–1.2 kg and possess a cream-colored rind and orange flesh. The variety is distinguished by high early yield, uniform ripening, and good post-harvest storage quality.
The plant possesses high resistance to Fusarium wilt (races 0, 1, 2) and intermediate resistance to powdery mildew (races 1, 2, 5) and aphids. Tolerance to cladosporiosis and bacteriosis is also noted. The variety is suitable for various cultivation conditions, including organic production.
