The variety is mid-season; the period from germination to fruit ripening is 80–90 days. The plant forms vigorous vine-type runners. The large round fruits have a dense netted rind with slight ribbing and a small seed cavity.
The fruit flesh is deep orange, juicy, sweet, and aromatic. The variety is resistant to powdery mildew, heat, and drought conditions and is capable of bearing fruit under high humidity. Due to the strength of the rind, the variety is suitable for transport; however, when grown on a trellis, the fruits require support.
