The Revel 160 F1 hybrid belongs to the mid-season maturity group. The plant possesses high yield potential and the ability for intensive fruit set. The fruits are characterized by a round shape, the presence of a dense, pronounced netting on the surface, and medium size.
The produce has high taste qualities, aroma, and increased sugar content. The fruits are characterized by good transportability, keeping quality, and uniformity in size.
The hybrid possesses high resistance to Fusarium wilt (races 0, 1, 2). Intermediate resistance to powdery mildew, as well as to the pathogens Golovinomyces cichoracearum and Acremonium cucurbitacearum, has been noted. In a number of trials, sensitivity to bacteriosis and Alternaria blight was observed.
