The Robinson F1 melon belongs to the yellow Charentais type and is characterized by a long vegetation period. The fruit has netted skin that turns yellow upon ripening, orange flesh, and an average weight of 1–1.2 kg. The harvest period is extended; the maturity stage is determined by the appearance of a circular crack around the peduncle.

The plant possesses high resistance to Fusarium wilt (races 0, 1) and intermediate resistance to powdery mildew (races 1, 2). The crop is distinguished by good fruit setting and is intended for professional main-season cultivation.
