The Syderal variety belongs to mid-early first-generation hybrids. The plant is characterized by vigorous growth, a powerful root system, and good foliagecover for the fruits, which ensures high productivity and the ability to actively set fruit.
The fruits have dense flesh of an intense orange color, a sugar content of more than 15 degrees Brix, and a small seed cavity, which contributes to their good transportability. The variety is intended for the fresh market.
The plant possesses high resistance to Fusarium wilt (races 0, 2) and intermediate resistance to powdery mildew. The presence of the VAT gene provides resistance to aphids, which allows the variety to be used in organic farming.
