The Thunder hybrid, also known under the code designation TSX-MR13, is a vigorous plant with a thick stem. It is used by professional growers to improve the growth performance of grafted crops, in particular, by ensuring active development at low temperatures.
This material possesses resistance to Fusarium wilt caused by Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. melonis (races 0, 1, 2), as well as to Melon necrotic spot virus (MNSV).
