VAR 351 belongs to the melon crop and is classified as the cantaloupe type. The hybrid was previously included in European vegetable crop catalogs, however, it currently has the status of being deleted from the register.
During variety trials, the hybrid demonstrated lower yield in terms of total weight and number of fruits compared to other tested samples. The fruit sugar content (Brix) was over 11%, which corresponds to an acceptable market level.
