Yeral RZ melon belongs to the Jaune Canari type. The plant is characterized by strong development, good fruit set, and the formation of uniform oval-shaped fruits with an average weight of 1.5 kg. The fruit flesh is white, firm, with a high sugar content.
The hybrid is intended for cultivation in the open field; it is recommended for late planting dates. The fruits possess good keeping quality and are suitable for long-distance transport.
The variety possesses resistance to Fusarium wilt (Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. melonis, races 0 and 2) and powdery mildew (Golovinomyces cichoracearum, races 1, 2 and 5).
