The Zest melon variety belongs to the Galia type and is characterized by a round fruit shape with a netted surface. The inside of the fruit contains green-colored flesh.
The average fruit weight is about 0.9 kg. The variety is a representative of the non-abscising type, where the fruit does not separate from the peduncle during the ripening process. The sugar content of the fruits on the Brix scale varies from 12 to 14%.
