Ardia F1 is an indeterminate plant with female-type flowering and a powerful root system. The period from germination to fruiting is 40 to 52 days. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in both open field and plastic greenhouses, and is adapted to sharp temperature fluctuations and low humidity.
The cylindrical fruits are 8–12 cm long, dark green in color, and have a bumpy surface with white pubescence. The gherkins are firm, with a small seed chamber and no genetic bitterness. Marketable yield reaches 7–9 kg/m².
The variety has high resistance to Cladosporium cucumerinum, cucumber mosaic virus, and Corynespora cassiicola; it is tolerant to powdery mildew and resistant to downy mildew. Intended for fresh consumption, pickling, and salting.
