Bologna RZ F1 belongs to the Long Dutch cucumber type and is intended for cultivation in greenhouses. The plant possesses high growth vigor. The mid-season hybrid demonstrates resistance to extreme weather conditions and is less susceptible to head burn and Mycosphaerella.

The dark green fruits have standard ribbing, reach a length of 34–38 cm and a weight of 300–500 g. The fruit flesh is characterized as crunchy. The hybrid possesses resistance to powdery mildew, the pathogen Corynespora cassiicola, and leaf spot (Cladosporium).
