Dee Son F1 is a vigorous, open-habit plant designed for cultivation in glass greenhouses using high-wire technology during the spring-summer period. The fruits reach a length of 27–32 cm and are adapted to intensive light conditions, including the use of supplemental artificial lighting.
The hybrid possesses high resistance to Cladosporium cucumerinum and Cucumber green mottle mosaic virus. Medium resistance to powdery mildew, Cucumber mosaic virus, and Cucumber vein yellowing virus is also noted.
