The Dee Jay F1 hybrid belongs to the long European cucumber type and is intended for cultivation in protected ground. The plant is characterized as open and fast-growing, with vertically oriented medium-sized leaves, which simplifies crop maintenance. The variety is adapted to summer conditions, is capable of withstanding temperature fluctuations, and maintains productivity when grown in cool conditions with low energy consumption.

The fruits are 28 to 36 cm in length and are distinguished by stable quality, regular shape, and attractive color. The hybrid possesses high resistance to leaf spot (Cca) and cucumber scab (Ccu). Intermediate resistance is also noted for cucumber green mottle mosaic virus (CGMMV), cucumber vein yellowing virus (CVYV), and powdery mildew (Px).
