The Lungo della Cina variety is a type of cucumber which, in Italian agronomic practice, is often classified as a local heirloom variety. In official publications, detailed variety descriptors, such as exact maturity group or disease resistance, are presented to a limited extent.

The fruits have a cylindrical shape with rounded ends. The skin is characterized by a dark green color and pronounced wartiness. The fruit flesh is dense and contains a minimal amount of seeds. The variety is intended for cultivation in the open field when sown in the period from March to June.
