Diyez F1 is an early hybrid with a vegetation period of 40–45 days. The plant is vigorous, with a developed root system and active formation of side shoots. Leaves are dark green, with high chlorophyll content due to Blueleaf technology.

Fruits are gherkin-type, large-tubercled, prickly, dark green in color with a length-to-diameter ratio of 3.1:1. The flesh is dense and crunchy, suitable for fresh consumption, canning, and fermentation.

The hybrid is grown in the open field on trellises or trailing, as well as in plastic tunnels; it possesses tolerance to high temperatures. It has high resistance to Cladosporium cucumerinum and powdery mildew, and intermediate resistance to Cucumber mosaic virus and Cucumber vein yellowing virus.
