The Lyvas F1 hybrid belongs to the Beit Alpha type and is intended for cultivation in open field conditions. The plant has a predominantly female flowering type. The fruits are distinguished by high uniformity, dark green color, a shiny surface, and pronounced ribbing, reaching 16–17 cm in length.
The variety possesses complex resistance to a number of common diseases, including Cucumber mosaic virus, Cucumber vein yellowing virus, Papaya ringspot virus, Watermelon mosaic virus, and Cladosporium cucumerinum.
