Lyon F1 is an ultra-early hybrid with a ripening period of 35–37 days. The plant is of the parthenocarpic type, forms 2–4 ovaries per node, and possesses a powerful root system and short internodes.

The fruits have a coarsely tuberculate surface and reach a length of 10–12 cm, with the possibility of harvesting gherkins 5–6 cm in size. The fruit flesh has no voids or bitterness. The yield is characterized by good transportability and keeping quality.

The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in protected and open field on trellises or netting. The variety shows high resistance to stress factors, as well as intermediate resistance to powdery mildew and anthracnose.
