The F1 hybrid Moxie, also known by the code designation HMX 8460, belongs to the pickling and canning cucumber type. The fruits have a dark green color, are characterized by a regular blocky shape and a small seed chamber; the length-to-diameter ratio is 3.0.

The variety belongs to the mid-late maturity group. During research on pathogens, it was confirmed that this hybrid is one of the most resistant to new strains of downy mildew, and also possesses resistance to scab.
