The Nouran hybrid is intended for cultivation in protected ground conditions. In scientific literature, the variety is distinguished by the presence of specific resistance to Zucchini yellow mosaic virus (ZYMV), caused by the presence of the zym resistance gene, which allows the plant to maintain resistance to the virus under field conditions.
In available publications, information regarding morphological traits of the plant, fruit characteristics, or yield indicators is absent. The variety appeared in official EU vegetable crop catalogs, however, documents for 2025 contain information about its removal from the list.
