Early-maturing variety, the period from emergence to the start of fruiting is 40–45 days. The plant is of medium-vining type, with a mixed flowering type. Intended primarily for open field cultivation, but can be grown in plastic tunnels.

The fruit (gherkin) is spindle-shaped, 5–12 cm long and 50–100 g in weight, coarsely tubercled, dark green in color with stripes and black spines. The flesh is crunchy, and bitterness is genetically absent. Yield is 2.5–4 kg/m².

The variety has resistance to powdery mildew, cladosporiosis, and cucumber mosaic virus. It is versatile in use, most in demand for pickling and marinating, including at the gherkin stage.
