The variety belongs to the carosello group and is not a true cucumber. The plant is of the vining type with thin stems and long internodes, suitable for cultivation in open field and protected cultivation. The period from germination to harvest is 50–70 days.

The cylindrical fruits reach 8–15 cm in length, have a surface with light fuzz, and are devoid of spines. The flesh is crispy and juicy, without bitterness. In an immature state, the fruits resemble a cucumber, and when overripe, they acquire a melon taste.
