The variety belongs to the hermaphroditic flowering type, in which the nodes of the plant contain both hermaphroditic and male flowers. The plant is characterized as compact and is grown as an annual crop.

The fruits of the variety are very short. Upon full ripening, the color of the fruits can change from yellow to orange, and they are consumed both in their young state and after heat treatment in the mature state.

The variety is mentioned in breeding publications in the context of its resistance to anthracnose and Fusarium wilt. In international practice, the variety is used as a classification unit for characterizing morphological traits in variety testing protocols.
