The variety is an improved strain of the historical English greenhouse cucumber «Telegraph Long». It is a vigorous plant with vines 2.4–3 meters long, characterized by a parthenocarpic type of fruiting and a ripening period of about 60 days.

The fruits belong to the English long-fruited type, have a cylindrical shape, thin smooth dark green skin, and crisp flesh with a small amount of small seeds. To obtain straight fruits, the plant requires mandatory cultivation on a trellis.

The variety is intended primarily for fresh salad use. The plant is adapted for protected cultivation, but can be grown in protected and favorable open field conditions.
