Tessa F1 is an early-maturing slicing type hybrid. The plant has medium vigor, forms dense foliage and abundant side shoots. The crop can be grown both in open areas and in film covers, requires fertile soil and wind-protected sites.
Fruits have a cylindrical shape and reach a length of about 22 cm. The dark green skin is thin and smooth, without pronounced ribs or warts. The flesh is firm and juicy, devoid of bitterness, the seed cavity is small. The variety shows resistance or increased tolerance to powdery mildew, angular leaf spot, and cucurbit scab.
Fruits are recommended for fresh consumption; freezing is also permitted. Due to its hybrid nature (F1), the plant's seeds are not suitable for further propagation while maintaining the original varietal properties.
