Variety description

The variety is a descendant of "Ніжинський місцевий" and is also known by the name "Олімп". The plant is vigorous, branches well, and has large leaves that protect the fruits from overheating and sunburn.

Fruits are cylindrical in shape, reach a length of 9–10 cm, have thin skin and a rich taste without bitterness. The variety is intended for cultivation in the open field, fruits for more than 60 days, and is resistant to downy mildew, drought, and cold.

The produce is distinguished by high marketability and transportability. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for marinating and pickling, in which they retain their firmness and crisp properties.
