The Triumph nezhinsky variety is a vigorous plant with large foliage that protects the fruits from overheating. The fruits are cylindrical in shape, 9–10 cm long, with a slightly tubercular or nearly smooth surface.

The plant possesses resistance to downy mildew, drought, and low temperatures. It is a multipurpose variety; the fruits are free of bitterness and maintain their firmness during canning and pickling. The fruiting period is long, lasting more than 60 days.

A separate hybrid, Early Triumph F1, is also found on the seed market; it is an early, vigorous, and bee-pollinated plant with complex resistance to viruses and fungal diseases.
