ActiveCucumis sativus L. · Cucumber
Monstanto Vegetable, NL
10 August 2026
The hybrid is an early-maturing plant; the period from germination to the onset of fruiting is 38–45 days. The plant is vigorous, moderately branching, and predominantly 2–3 female flowers are formed in each node.
The gherkin is cylindrical in shape, dark green in color, with very large tubercles and spines. The fruit length is 10–12 cm; the flesh is tender, juicy, and free of bitterness and voids. The hybrid is suitable for transportation.
The plant possesses resistance to Cladosporium cucumerinum, Cucumber mosaic virus, and powdery mildew, and demonstrates stress tolerance to temperature fluctuations and low light conditions. It is recommended for cultivation in protected soil in spring, summer, and autumn rotations; the fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, canning, and pickling.
