The variety VERTLONG is also known as Vertlong Allemand or Long Allemand. The fruits have an elongated shape; the average fruit length is 186 mm with a diameter of 28 mm and an average weight of about 400 g.
During studies conducted in 2009–2011, the variety demonstrated an infection rate of powdery mildew, downy mildew, and bacteriosis at a level below 20%.
