The variety is mid-season, the vegetation period is about 55 days. The plant is bee-pollinated, monoecious, characterized by vigorous growth and strong vines. The variety tolerates seed germination at lower soil temperatures better than others.

Fruits are cylindrical, uniform, gherkin-type. The surface of the fruits is coarsely tubercular, dark green in color with black spines. The flesh is firm and crisp, the taste is good, without bitterness.

The variety possesses resistance to cucumber mosaic virus and scab, while it may be susceptible to downy mildew. Due to its qualities, the variety is versatile, but is predominantly used for pickling and canning.
