Grey Queen F1 belongs to the Kabocha type. The fruits are characterized by high carotene content and are suitable for making soups, purees, baking, and frying. The variety is characterized by good keeping quality and can be stored until the end of spring in dry, ventilated rooms.
The hybrid is resistant to Zucchini yellow mosaic virus. The growing season is 120–140 days. The crop is heat-loving, requires fertile soil and a sunny location, and is grown primarily via seedlings in individual containers due to sensitivity to transplanting.
