The Hot Summer F1 variety belongs to the Hokkaido-type pumpkin group of the species Cucurbita maxima. The plant has a semi-bush growth habit, medium to medium-high vigor, and high productivity. The fruit ripening period is about 90 days.
The fruits have a flat or flat-round shape, smooth bright orange skin, and a weight of 1.0–1.5 kg. The variety has intermediate resistance to Zucchini yellow mosaic virus (ZYMV), Watermelon mosaic virus (WMV), and Papaya ringspot virus (PRSV), as well as resistance to Fusarium. The fruits are characterized by good keeping quality and are convenient for transportation.
