The plant belongs to the semi-bush type with a compact habit and moderately branched shoots. The fruits have a round, flattened, or elliptical shape with a smooth or ribbed surface of dark orange color, sometimes with pink or reddish tints and stripes.
The fruit flesh is characterized by a creamy texture, a thickness of 3–4 cm, and a sweetish taste. The dry matter content is 10–12%, and the beta-carotene content is 8–12 mg/100 g.
