The variety belongs to the kabocha type and is characterized by dense orange flesh with a sweet taste. The fruits are used in cooking, as well as in the production of pumpkin powder and juices.
The fruit flesh contains a high amount of carotenoids, predominantly beta-carotene, and the seeds contain alpha-tocopherol. The variety shows signs of resistance to powdery mildew, however, under certain conditions, it may be susceptible to bacterial fruit rot.
In terms of yield, the variety is comparable to the Delica hybrid, reaching approximately 95% of its performance, with efficiency potentially varying depending on planting dates.
