Green Hubbard
ActiveCucurbita maxima Duchesne · Giant pumpkin
Pieterpik B.V.
10 August 2026
The hybrid is an interspecific cross of Cucurbita maxima and Cucurbita moschata, intended exclusively for agrotechnical purposes. It is used as a base for grafting cucurbits, which allows for maintaining plant productivity on poor or depleted soils.
The plant possesses high or moderate resistance to Fusarium wilt and anthracnose. The use of this rootstock ensures good compatibility with commercial watermelon, melon, and cucumber hybrids without negatively affecting the taste and appearance of the scion fruits.
The variety is listed in the national registry — its seeds are authorized for sale in this country.
