The plant is of a bush type, does not form vines, and reaches a height of 60–80 cm. The fruits have an elongated shape, and their skin varies from creamy-white to very pale green, sometimes with pale spots. The optimal size for harvesting young fruits is from 15 to 35 cm.

The flesh is characterized as tender and delicate, with a "buttery" sweetish taste. The fruits are suitable for raw consumption, stewing, frying, and stuffing; the plant's flowers are also edible. The variety is demanding of soil fertility and regular watering, as a lack of moisture can cause bitterness in the fruits.
