The hybrid belongs to the Hokkaido (Uchiki Kuri) type. The fruits have a round or slightly flattened shape, are characterized by uniform outlines and a weight ranging from 1.5 to 3 kg. The flesh is firm, bright orange in color, and possesses a sweetish taste.

The plant is used in cooking for preparing soups and desserts, and is also suitable for baking, boiling, and frying. There is also a garden strawberry hybrid with the similar name Delician F1, which is a separate crop.
