The variety is an F1 hybrid, the main purpose of which is the production of pumpkin seed oil. The fruits contain hulless seeds, which simplifies their further processing. The fruit flesh has low taste quality and is rarely used for human consumption.
A key characteristic of the hybrid is its resistance to Zucchini yellow mosaic virus (ZYMV), which was an important achievement in the breeding of oil-seed varieties. Also noted is the variety's ability to reduce the risk of fruit rot during cultivation.
