The plant forms a compact open-type bush, which simplifies care and harvesting. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in open field and is capable of bearing fruit well under low-light conditions.

The fruits have a cylindrical shape and light green shiny skin, sometimes with rare whitish spots. With a length of 18–20 cm, the weight of a marketable fruit is from 0.7 to 1.3 kg, while the fruits are distinguished by tender flesh and long retention of market quality even when overgrown.

Milet F1 possesses genetic resistance to squash mosaic virus, however it is sensitive to frosts. In terms of its characteristics and growth type, the hybrid is often compared to the Iskander variety type.
