Polo F1 is an early-maturing heterotic bush type hybrid. The plant is resistant to downy mildew.

The fruits are flat disc-shaped with creamy-white skin. Young fruits are used fresh, for pickling, fermenting, and canning; mature fruits are suitable for baking.
