Early-ripening variety, the period from germination to technical maturity is 45–60 days. The plant is of the bush type, compact, and does not form long lateral shoots. Lodging is not characteristic of this variety.

Fruits reach 40 cm in length with an average weight of 0.8–0.9 kg. The surface is smooth or slightly ribbed; the color is dark green with light green speckles or stripes. The rind is thin; the flesh is white and juicy.

The fruits are used fresh, in cooking, and for canning. In the Italian tradition, the flowers of this variety are also consumed; they are fried in batter or added to omelets.
