The variety was created in the early 20th century in Germany by the breeder Kiausch. The plant is characterized by light pink, salmon-colored petals with a distinct transitional color zone. Historically, it belongs to the classic forms intended for indoor cultivation as a pot plant.

In agronomic research, the variety was used as a model object for studying the influence of temperature on development and the specifics of seed germination, demonstrating higher germination rates compared to a number of other forms. The plants possess vigorous growth while maintaining compact bush dimensions. Currently, the variety is considered historical and is rarely encountered in industrial floriculture, having been displaced by modern hybrids.
