The variety was obtained based on the selection of 29 clones originating from the western part of Switzerland. It belongs to the category of late-maturing varieties and is characterized as single-cut in the structure of intensive grass mixtures.
Used as a forage crop. The variety is an important historical breeding material, on the basis of which other Swiss cocksfoot varieties were subsequently developed.
