The variety is a tetraploid semi-erect loose-bunch winter cereal. Plants have upright stems and broad rough leaves of a bluish-green color. The inflorescence is a complex panicle with spikelets gathered in clusters; the seeds have a light straw color and an oblong shape.

The plant belongs to the early-maturing group, reaching full development in the second to third year of life. The variety is valued for its high leaf-to-stem ratio and excellent digestibility of the forage mass. The crop grows well on clay and loamy soils, showing high winter hardiness and resistance to spring frosts, but it does not tolerate excessive moisture.

The main purpose of the variety is the creation of pastures and hayfields, as well as the production of silage and hay. The plant is effectively used in grass mixtures with other early tall-growing cereals and red clover.
