The Loke variety belongs to the group of mid-ripening Dactylis glomerata varieties. It demonstrated good regrowth indicators after mowing, especially at the end of the summer period, which distinguished it from a number of other forage grass varieties.
In scientific studies, the variety was used as a typical representative of northern European populations of the species, particularly when studying the physiological tolerance of plants to dehydration. Currently, the variety is often found in seed mixtures for creating flower meadows and ecologically oriented grass stands.
