The variety belongs to the decorative dahlia group. The inflorescences are double; petal color varies from moderately red to deep red with purple-red or magenta tips. The plant has dark green serrated pinnate leaves and sturdy stems.

The plant reaches a height of about 1 meter and forms dense clumps. The variety is intended for cultivation in flower beds and is highly valued for cutting. Flowering occurs during the summer and autumn periods. Under adverse weather conditions, the plant requires support due to the weight of the large inflorescences.
