The variety belongs to the Classic series and is a peony-flowered dahlia. The plant reaches 80–100 cm in height, and the flower diameter is about 10 cm. The foliage is dark, bronze-green with a purple hue, and the stems have a brownish color.

The plant prefers sunny locations or partial shade, is heat-loving, and requires digging up tubers for the winter in cold regions. It is used in landscape design for creating borders, as a specimen plant, and for cutting in bouquets. It is propagated by cuttings or tuber division.
