Variety description

10 August 2026

The VDT-G57 variety, also known as Taxi Driver, is a compact plant with a height and width of about 0.5 m. The dahlia is distinguished by its characteristic bronze-black foliage.

The flowers of the variety are single, non-double, bright yellow with a golden center. The plant is characterized by rapid growth and flowering, which continues from mid-summer until the onset of the first frosts.

The variety is classified as conditionally winter-hardy, which requires protection or digging up of tubers in regions with a cold climate. If necessary, it is recommended to stake the bush to supports during the growth process.
